Christmas & New Year message:
2020 has been a year to remember for many unhappy reasons. Let us take a break this Christmas and New Year to reassess our lives, and the way we impact the environment in what we do or do not do, what we speak up about, and the consequence of our silence.
Our country [our world] has been on fire like never before. Climate change needs to be addressed. Denudation, the removal of Australian native indigenous ecology [i.e. naturally occurring native vegetation and its native animal inhabitants] is a big factor in weather and climate. The more the land is denuded, the greater the frequency and intensity of fires, drought, flood, extreme wind events and so on. Sadly this is been overlooked, and instead of preserving this vital ecology our governments are giving free for all to those who develop or use old colonial environmental vandalism methods and approach to agriculture and logging. Token pacifiers and propaganda with twisted, distorted and even absent facts are used to portray a environmentally kind facade at all levels of government. The big players are not different, justifying their destruction of our world and their massive contribution to climate change through denudation and fossil fuel. Individuals are not exempt from this destruction, who collectively, and in their consumer demand add to the destruction of our Earth.
Solutions are available now. So why are so many saying the young will find solutions and fix our climate crisis when they grow up? If today's adults don't act yesterday - there will be no tomorrow for the young of today to fix their parent's mess! Is this the Christmas present you will give your children? A ruined future!
We all have a choice. Please make your new year's resolution one that puts our Earth first; in doing so you will help secure your children's quality of life into the future. Please listen to those that know the truth - not the politicians and big moguls - but great naturalists like Sir David Attenborough, Jane Goodall, and many like them, spreading the genuine 'word' on our planet's condition. Please join their noise for change, our noise for change. There are many ways you and your family can make a difference. Remember: to do nothing is to achieve nothing - and surely by now, everyone must realise without the greater majority making an effort to put back to our Earth, there will be a very dismal future for all.

The organisers of Bulldozing Bundanoon wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
Give a gift of hope for your Children’s future: spare a few minutes to write/email your federal and state MPs and ask for action on reducing Climate Change and genuine protection of our natural environment.
Everyone can do many easy things to help. Individuals collectively can make a difference.
Learn about our ecosystems and get a better understanding of what is really happening from those truly qualified. Don’t be fooled by the big corporations that make mega millions from the ignorance of the masses, or those whose comments are based on ‘tailored’ facts and science. Those spreading the message [as given by the great conservationists and scientists of our time] of protecting the environment to preserve our planet for future generations are not fools or ratbags, but persons who have made the effort to be well informed, and care enough to make great effort to urge others to act before it is too late.
Time is running out. The best gift you can give is to secure your children’s future. That means securing the health of our planet’s ecosystems – and NOW!
*future pages of things everyone can do to help protect our environment and reduce climate change impacts are intended soon* Meantime it is easy to Google and educate yourself on ecosystems and ecology, and how you can make a difference [from planting trees and shrubs to reducing waste and being more resourceful]. Remember, individuals collectively have a mass impact on our planet, so collectively individuals can make a big difference. It just needs more to care to make some effort - and remember - it's for your children's future. Please spread the word and share the message.
Please see our other pages which contain information related to protecting the environment and ecological issues.
